Pista tree is small. Outer cover of pistachio or ‘pista’ is uneatable. The kernel inside is edible. Roasted and salted kernels form a good snack. They are also used in ice creams, puddings, desserts and milk sweets. Pistachio contains good amount of Vitamin B along with protein and fibre.
