Seetaphal or custard apple is a seasonal fruit. When it ripens the outer hard skin becomes very soft and can be cut with hand. Inside there are many black seeds covered with white flesh. The seeds and the peel are not edible. The flesh is very sweet. Children find it difficult to eat. Remove the flesh and put it in a bowl. Add milk and honey. Mix it to make a good milk shake. The children will enjoy it and get all the nutrition.
Seetaphal is generally eaten raw. It is also available in the form of ice cream, milk shake and juice. It has vitamin B6 & little B2, magnesium, potassium, copper, fibre and also fat. Just one seetaphal will give enough potassium and vitamin C for one day.
Benefits:
1. By eating seetaphal regularly you can keep heart problems away.
2. Seetaphal helps wounds, infection to heal quickly after treatment.
3. Seetaphal removes free radicals and keeps cancer away.
4. Lies in hair: Crush a few dry seeds and mix with water. Apply on scalp and rub nicely.
